About Thomas Allan
Thomas Allan is a small consultancy business set up by Murray Pullin. The business is focused on solving finance and operations problems for large organisations. Murray has a wealth of experience in transforming the way organisations work across multiple industries and functions with a mindset for operational excellence.
From the first job at Admiral Insurance in 1998, through to today, Murray has always kept on top of the latest technology developments and consistently looked to adopt technology for process improvement and business value. After 10 years in finance at two of the largest insurers in the UK, consultancy beckoned and this triggered a career changing move into FP&A and finance processes working with companies looking to move away from spreadsheet based systems onto enterprise-ready solutions led by IBM.
Over the years that followed, projects became larger and more complex; delivery teams got bigger; and exposure to many facets of change, decision making and governance dominated project strategy and outcomes. The largest project contribution was with a global finance transformation in the financial services industry working with over 200 project delivery professionals and a budget in excess of $100 million. But they all don't have to be this big.
There have been many lessons learnt from projects and the impact on the people who continue to work with new processes and technologies delivered through programmes. Change is as natural as the seasons, and we help organisations build a culture that embraces and adapts to it. The way we work is constantly changing, and changing at pace and we can help you keep up with these transformations.
